We are doing a weekly letter-writing activity on Thursdays. This is to help Nature Boy learn some writing skills that are quickly diminishing in our media-driven society. I am hoping to get a graphic made by Alice so I can use it in my sidebar (especially when I convert back to Typepad, my long lost friend!!). Until then, I encourage you to pick up the pen in your own household. A well written note is such a blessing to the receiver, don’t you think?

Hi Mary – I try and send real notes and real snail mail. I just sent an Easter thank you to my aunt and little package to a friend in MA. I also believe mail/letters are an important art being lost. Maybe that is why I like to blog… it is like my letter to those who may (or may not) be interested.
I love this idea. This is an awesome thing you are teaching and modeling.
I have also been thinking about letter writing. I make a point the third Sunday of every month to sit and write a letter or two.
