Hello from Minnesota~ I am a mother of four boys living in a small rural town in Minnesota. This blog is a record of some of our learning and faith activities we are striving to incorporate into our home. Here are a few of my favorite things: coffee time with friends, crafting with friends (mostly paper-crafty type things), my weekly library visits, my Catholic women’s book club, reading magazines and of course, watching classic movies! I have a fantastic hubby (we met in high school and eventually married, real high-school sweethearts!) and together we have a bright, active and mostly happy little family! We love to cook together on weekends and we like going on daytrips (although with our newest little guy those are getting few and far between!).
The picture on the top of the page is of the river on our property. Our boys enjoy playing outside, fishing, sledding in the winter, gardening with Mom in the Spring, etc. Come along and enjoy the journey with us. Happy Reading!

This is a compilation of books I would like to read in the future years. Most of the time I read to be encouraged in my vocation as a wife and mother. I love to be inspired in my Catholic faith, so many of these books will have a Christian bent to them. My goal is to finish a book, put it down and to feel that my life and faith is richer for having read it. Some of favorite authors include Flannery O’Connor, Willa Cather, Jon Hassler and Michael O’Brien.
